I enjoy making models by Leon Schuijt - they are generally buildings that are a bit different from the usual and this one is no exception.
The Weighouse is printed on the usual Schuijt textured card and is 1:100 scale. The base is about 15 X 8 inches and it stands about 11 inches tall. The build was quite straight forward but the sting in the tail was fitting the four stairs. They come as one part including the front arches and gluing the stairs in place is not easy - it's like building a six sided box, but with stairs!
I have included a picture of the front of the building without the stairs. I have added Balsa strips beneath the stair tabs to make gluing easier.
It makes a great addition to the LS collection!
Cheers
