BB 8 (Star Wars)

I had a little time and wanted to build a small model. After browsing the net I stumbled across this BB 8 model, which I like because of the geometry.

The main body ball is made up of these two shapes.



I decided to lose the tabs and underglue all the parts.


Then these parts are combined to form the body of BB 8.


And the back view ...


The head was very challenging esp the sensor eyes and antenna.




I did not glue the antenna onto the surface but cut some slots and glued from the inside.


Combine everything and ... voila: BB 8!






I could not resist to photoshop the little guy into action ...
