1/50 T-34 light tank

Sergey Kamotsky of Robototehnik designed this little known Russian prewar light tank in 1/50 scale. What a great model! All the parts fit perfectly, and the textures are outstanding. I had a lot of fun building it. It's mounted on an oak grain paper base with just a bit of groundwork.

I would like your opinions regarding the little paper tank commander figure (also designed by Sergey). Even though he's obviously a very friendly guy, I can't decide if he adds or detracts from the model. What do you think? Should he stay, or should he go?
