At Hobby Lobby, stumbled onto three history/model books from Thunder Bay Press: "Cars: A Complete History," "Planes: A Complete History," and "Trains:A Complete History." Each features about 50 simple paper models of significant vehicles or aircraft, and it's clever that a guide book remains after the models are built. The books also are available from the publisher, Amazon, and Barney Noble. The link for the first is Cars: A Complete History - Thunder Bay Press , and links lead to the other two books.
Unfortunately, the models are apt to be far too simple for members of this Forum, and the $20 prices are steep. But such a book could be a great gift to introduce children to paper modeling.
