Mystre IV A - IAF repaint double

I am back building after my long hotel stay in Montreal ( 5 months ). I finally moved to a rented house just outside the city, but not too far from the airport.

I am now set up and decided to build a model I promised. This is the Dassault Mystre IV in Israeli Air Force schemes.

The mystre ( meaning mystery in French ) is a contemporary of the F-86 sabre. In addition to the French air force it served in Israel and India.

I got to see examples both in France and Israel during my travels.

The kit

This is a kit from the IAF Air Force Magazine published in the 60's. I built it in its original version many years ago. I was excited to build 2 repainted versions of that original. There is a silver one with the Suez campaign black and yellow stripes, and the second version is a mid 1960's brown and blue camouflage.


I decided to build both simultaneously. Why not :)
