My second design and build aircraft was a Hawker Hunter F.Mk.4, WT720 in 1:48. This build is a first full prototype, the prevoius ones didn't get past the nose and cockpit section before I had to redesign the model to make it buildable.
I am mostly happy with the design except where the rear of the wings droop slightly. From the rear view you can see a concave section in the left wing, which was addressed in the right wing with another wing rib. I have since redesigned the wing to have another (4th) wing rib to help maintain the wing profile and a second wing spar to hopefully eliminate the wing rotation during building that led to the wing droop.
The air intake is connected to the exhaust pipe via a hole in the fuselage to reduce drag during flight. The model does fly although it is a little unstable, I think, due to the wing build issues.
This model was built using 80gsm printer paper.
