For a new project I am building Dave's Space Dock with the 1/1700 Enterprise Refit model by Diego Cortes.
The plan is to build this as a shadow box diorama.
The Space Dock.
The Refit.
I'm starting with the Space Dock first, as it is the most labour intensive.
First thing was to import the frame into Photoshop to clone the frame colour and create a sheet of this colour onto 110lb card, to be laminated to the back of the frame sheets.
Then to start the task of cutting out all of the internal blank areas.
This is going to take a while.
With the main frame complete, it's time to start onto the side panels.
This is where I am at, at this moment, as my little pile of cutouts grows.
