Hello all,
Another fantastic event at the Scottish National IPMS show, held over two days. Our very own Hiob (Adam) came along and entered his IJN Hiei into the competition. He was a bit wary of entering it at first because it was incomplete, but he went for it anyway. He spent Friday evening at my house putting the final touches to the guard rails.
Here is the master at work
The model on display. Quite frankly, the photos here and on other threads don't do this model justice. It just has to be seen and is really of museum quality standard.
It will come as no surprise that he won the Scratch Build prize......
.........and the Lothian Trophy for best ship model in show.
A very happy Adam.
It was a very good event for the Dunfermline model club with a total of three trophies, three gold, one silver and one bronze awards.
I think you would all like to join me in congratulating Adam.
All the best.
Bernie.
