How do you get rid of PDO Fold Lines?

How do you get rid of PDO fold lines? In particular, the dash lines that are sometimes throughout a model. I understand the reasoning of the fold-lines, but they tend to mark up an otherwise beautiful design/model.:confused: Maybe I'm missing a technique on getting rid of the lines for a final print.
