New release...a new Thunderbolt!
This one, another special request, and a somewhat unique aircraft.
This P-47 was used by the Wright-Patterson AFB to warn away Civilian aircraft over the Wright Test Field
(since most civilian aircraft in 1948 were not equipped with radios).
The plane wore the basic USAAF unpainted finish with large warning banners painted on either side of the fuselage.
Kit is in the shops now.
