I have a Wrebbit Card Model of a MERCEDES S.S. from The thirties . I bought it used .Well , it had been opened and then stored . While building it I used the jig for the two ply hood panels .
Inside and outside panels have color and detail on them . Problem is The hood panels don't match up with the curve in the cowling or the radiator .
This thing is a beautiful card creation in 1/8 or 1/12 scale ( I don't remember which.) I have it at 90% finished .This brought me to a complete halt . I will Not finish it unless I can display it with the four part hood opening and closing on the cowl or radiator !
It just doesn't look right without the hood and it took so long to thread the silver jewelry wire when I made the wheels .
Now here's the question . Can I or should I, try to de-laminate the panels with warm water and will this hurt the high gloss graphics ?
