Jules Verne's Lunar Train

Searching the net for new pictures for my Collection on http://ift.tt/1saIMwS , I recently came across a model of Jules Verne's tongue-in-cheek idea for a lunar sight seeing train. It was supposed to circle the moon, then return to Earth - he never elaborated on the method of launching and landing. The locomotive/tender configuration is probably the original illustrator's idea...

French designer Patrick Pasques made his model available on A l'ombre du pommier...: Jules Verne,

and it was a pleasant few hours' work building it, and selecting a suitable background on Google Images. The train is about 15 cms.

I particularly enjoy (SF) models based on older books and movies. Any suggestions?
