modeling trees and rocks

i recently had the pleasure of building
l'instant durable's
mont saint michel
I thorouly enjoyed it,in fact i made a 50% reduction also
my question is
wwhere can i find information on landscape modeling?
such as trees/shrubs
waterfalls
like the one at frank lloyd wright's
Fallingwater
"i amsurprised that no one has tackled such a magnificent building"
other than the toy
my interest is because i have two waterfalls beside a lake and complex pool in one of my designs
and also
i want to make a model of a japanese gardensimply making cutouts of various trees and such doesnt work
i want realistic presentation
