Hi Texans, I am visiting Texas from November 18 to December 2. It is a work trip, but I am lucky that my job sometimes involves taking people with disabilities on holidays.I am taking a lady with cerebralpalsy to visit relatives for Thanksgiving.
Anyhow, we will be based in Wimberley, which is between San Antonio and Austin. We have a vehicle at our disposal to get around in. We have looked at guide books videos on YouTube so we have an idea of things to do and see, but I always find locals know of great places that tourists bypass so I am askeing for any wisdom you may have to help us enjoy our holiday.
