Here is a build of the Shreiber-Bogen Dirigible.
In another thread I mentioned that it might get built if The Cubs win the World Series and The Cup is in White Hart Lane. That is not likely to happen in my lifetime so here goes.:)
The book has 4 double pages of parts with the backs in a grey color with some colored printing for the reverse of some parts.
The pages were scanned and stitched together since the scanner used can only handle up to USLtr and A4 size sheets.
The individual parts pages (half pages of the book) are 12.25 inches/31cm X 8.75 inches/22cm. I did not bother with scanning the backs and trying to match up the reverse printing. What was done is to glue some appropriate colored paper to the back of the printed out sheets to correspond to the areas in the original printed pages.
Here is an old print of the machine:

A steam generator makes steam which is piped to the contraption in front and then the reaction of the steam escaping propels the dirigible.
Just for S&G's I decided to write down all of the tools and supplies I used in the construction.
Tools and supplies used (in no particular order)
Main body went together OK
Attachment 262864
Fore and aft cones
Forward cone has a disk inside for reenforcement
Attachment 262865
Aft cone is smaller in diameter with no internal reenforcement
Attachment 262866
