I have always been fascinated but the models people build out of cardstock and decided to try my hand at it. That being said I may have stepped into the deep end. I love the White Knight and Space Ship aircraft from Scaled Composites and paper-replika has the second generation version which I have chosen, to attempt, to build.
I have all the parts for the wings cut out but it appears either there are parts missing or I just don't understand how to construct it. The construction uses an inner tab design which doesn't make sense to me.
I have attached an image of the wing parts and their associated inner tab elements. I am trying to figure out how the assembly works as the tabs either connect to the inner top portions of the wing segments or the inner bottom portions of the wing segments to join them together. There are not enough tab elements to run them along the top of the segments and the bottom of the segments without printing extras of the inner tab parts.
If anyone has built this aircraft before or any of the paper-replika aircraft (as they all seem to use the inner tab techniquie) can you please shed some light on this?
Thanks,
T.E
