Hi all, just finished designing yet another model! This time around it's a curious little vessel used almost exclusively by Germany's little-known special-operations units. The Linse is an explosive boat, not unlike the Shinyo used by the Japanese. Unlike the Shinyo, however, the Linse boats were designed to be unmanned during the final approach to the target - the commandos manning these vessels would bail out at approximately 300 feet from the target before control would be relinquished to a radio operator in a separate command-boat. While the whole system and method were designed with the safe return of the commandos in mind, the missions were nonetheless extremely risky - though arguably much more survivable than missions involving Neger subs, et al.
I've just about drawn up all the requisite parts, and all that's left to do is testbuild, which I hope to do either tomorrow or sometime next week.
