I found this kit through pinterest - my daughter thinks this site is a waste of time!
I downloaded the kit and thought it would be a recipe for disaster - an "after market" kit to be printed using a basic printer of a complicated looking kit.
I copied it mainly because we visited Ulm, Germany a few years ago and the building was very impressive with all its painted walls.
It wasn't quite the disaster I expected. The parts fitted quite well although I did have a few problems with the many roofs and made a few changes to tidy up a few odd areas. For example there are grey areas on two of the roofs to indicate where the tower fits - the problem is that the area is printed on one of the wrong roofs.
I would like to have used a better printer because the wall paintings are not sharp enough. This and other colourful buildings can be found at wediul.de Ausflugsziele - Infos, Panoramen, Videoclips, Bilder, Online-Puzzles zu Zielen zwischen der Schwäbischen Alb und dem Bodensee von Dieter Welz, Ulm.
I have added one of my own photos to give a better idea of the paintings.
The scale is 1:160 but I printed it at 75% making the base 11 inches by 8 and the building 10 inches tall.
Cheers
Mike
