Kv-2 (1/25)

Hello,

I finished big project in my company and finally I have time to beck to my hobby. Because it's been a long time since completion of the last of my model, I wanted to choose a fairly simple but effective model to do. I checked my files and I chose heavy Russian tank KV-2. It is not my project, I didn’t design it. I’ll use free version available on Internet.


I’m going to add a few additional details to the model like nuts and welds as well as resin wheels and track links from Panzer Hobby Art -1-25 scale armor models and accessories.. I’m going to build model of tank serial no B4754 destroyed near Ostrow town in 5th of July 1941. I have a few good pictures based on which I should be able to make this one vehicle.


I’ll try to recreate damages like broken caterpillar, damaged fenders and tool box, traces of bullets and other.

Starting from hull. I joined all 2mm thick plates’ together face to face adding a few extra frames and reinforcements.


Next to I glue side plating to this hull.
