Medieval Row

This is a project that I started on a Wargamer's forum, because I saw a void in the models available. All of the models of buildings out there are stand alone structures. Each one sitting by itself and not easily set up to abut other buildings. When you look at how buildings grow in towns, there are few 'box stores', but mostly buildings are attached.

Most of the settings for Fantasy Role Playing Games is England and Northern Europe, for the most part. So I started researching English Market Towns. I wanted to have some buildings that are designed to fit into a block or could stand alone. Similar to Hubert Siegmund's Romantische Village or some of Vyskovsky's models.

The first photo shows an aerial view of part of a town.

The other images are some of my concept drawings. I want jetties and the ability to have single- and multi-level buildings from a basic kit.
