Hello my friends!
Just a short intruduction to my new model - the Aermacchi MB-339.
This small trainer aircraft is used in Italy, Eritrea, Malaysia, Nigeria, Peru, United Arab Emirates and surprisingly in USA.
Italy and UAE use this little beauty also for their Aerobatic Teams - the impressive Frecce Tricolori and the fantastic looking Al Fursan (black golden painting)
I've seen Frecce Tricolori (formed in 1961) - the first time in 1981 - in those days they have flown the Fiat G-91. In 1982 they changed to the MB-339, which is still in service.
Al Fursan - the aerobatic team of the United Arab Emirates was formed in 2010. In 2011 they practised with pilots of the Frecce Tricolori at their homebase in Rivolto (Italy).
So as a huge fan of Frecce Tricolori it was quite logical to design a paper model of the MB-339. I've started in autum 2013 an finished it one month ago.
hey, stop talking - show some pictures! ok here are some of the MB-339 "Frecce Tricolori"
Sorry, but i have no pictures of Al Fusan ... what a shame!
If you are interested - HERE you can order this model (and my other models too ;)). It is printed on 160g card, has more than 300 parts and you can build each aircraft (different tailcodes and parts with different numbers on fuselage are included). So if you by 12 (Frecce Tricolori) or 7 (Al Fursan) you can display the whole team :) (probably no one will do this anyway)
Greetings from Austria
