I have encountered a strange inconsistent bug with Firefox 40.0.3.
After upgrading to the latest Firefoc build, I have found that the "save image as" right click sometimes downloads corrupted jpg images that cannot be opened. This problem does not occur with all jpg images, but always occurs with the same images.
On the papermau site, I cannot download the image of the orginal Japanese midget sub using Firefox.

However, the image downloads just fine using an add-on download tool and I have no problem downloading it using other browsers. I am just using this image from papermau as an example, I have encountered images on other websites that Firefox fails to download correctly. Other images on the page download correctly.
Needless to say, it is a nuisance, when you don't know if your browser is going to download an intact file or a junk file.
Has anyone else upgraded firefox and encountered this problem?
I am going to do a download and fresh install of firefox into a sandbox to see if the problem still occurs with a fresh installation rather than an upgrade.
