I finally did it, I just finished my first design and build of a paper model - the MAVEN spacecraft.
Some parts were parts from other models, but had to alter the looks, shape and color while a lot of parts I made from scratch in Photoshop such as the solar panels and the instrument cluster at the end of the from boom arm.
It's not perfect as you can see from looking at the pics below, but I did it all from looking at photos I downloaded.
I think it looks OK for someone who never done this before.
The photos show the spacecraft being built at NASA before launch.
I hope to upload it for anyone to download and build, but I don't know how to do that yet.
I welcome any comments and suggestions so I can hopefully make the model better.
