Thunderbolt 44-33133 is owned and flown by Flying Heritage Collection of Everett Washington
and recreates one of the six Tallahasses Lassie's flown by Col. Ralph C. Jenkins of the 510th Fighter Squadron (in WW2).
Col. Jenkins led the 510th, based in England, and was involved in an attack on German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel's convoy
that most likely resulted in severe injuries to Rommel. Jenkins himself had fired directly on Rommel's Staff Car.
