Plastic for Canopies

I am currently busy building the Inwald Spitfire Va and ran out of CA. Purchased a tube of cheap generic chinese CA. My mind automatically made the connection between the size of the plastic bubble and the size of the canopy template I built the night before and I wondered if I could use it to form the canopy. As it turned out, the plastic is very well suited as it shrank to shape around the template the moment I heated it up with the wife's hairdryer. As soon as I can post photos, I will show the process and results.

Also found an ideal scoring tool - a stainless steel cuticle pusher from my local health store.
