Since I mentioned these in response to another post, I figured I'd bring them up here. Surprised no one has done these two important NASA spacecraft. I'll be lazy and just quote the NASA descriptions.
LADEE: NASA's Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) - pronounced "laddie" - was a robotic mission that orbited the moon to gather detailed information about the structure and composition of the thin lunar atmosphere, and determine whether dust is lofted into the lunar sky.
MAVEN: The Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) mission is part of NASA's Mars Scout program, funded by NASA Headquarters. Launched in Nov. 2013, the mission will explore the Red Planets upper atmosphere, ionosphere and interactions with the sun and solar wind.
Lots of assembly/prelaunch pix online for details. If anyone wants to tackle these, I'll gladly help with research.
