Printing F. Prudenziati's models on 8-1/2 x 11

Hello everyone,

I am seeking advice on how I should scale the captioned author's Fokker Dr1 model. When I attempt to scale this model so that it fits on a single 8-1/2" x 11" US Letter size paper, the details are too small for my eyes (even with my reading glasses).

Can anyone give me some insight as to how I could scan /scale this model so that it fits properly on 2 sheets of US Letter paper?

Presently I have no editing tools other that to take screen shots and import them one at a time into an Open Office presentation file.
