Hi Guys it`s been a while since i have commissioned Saratoga;)Recently i have started a new Project Which is a WW II Japanese Aircraftcarrier JIN Shokaku.I was wondering a long time whether should i come forward with a new thread;)This was dictated by lack of the time...But Could`t stay away...;)
So let`s get to the bottom;)The Model alone does`t give a full justice of the look of the ship ,therefore I will try to bring Her look as close as possible to the original base on pics and by using a photo etched parts
So far i built the life boats And Assembled the hull Using laser cut out frames.Bottom section of the hull is reinforced with cardboard cut to the shape of the frames Filled with a putty Which one i got sanded after drying.next step will be reinforcing the the top section of the hull.
And here we have a Hull;))
