After safely lurking hull down for about six months, I thought it only appropriate that I report for duty. Like so many on this list, I am of a certain age who is getting back into modeling, and have chosen paper as the way to go.
My name is Lyle, and I live in Delaware. My primary interest at this time is artillery (preferably muzzle loading or SP 105mm but will take anything light) and eventually sailing ships. So far I have done a couple of pieces from PTA, and am working on Waynes neat little 4.5 in howitzer. Im in the skill building stage right now, and not ready to post pictures. I know my artillery interest is a rather limiting market, but Im an old FA redleg and now a gunner on Delawares tall ship, the Kalmar Kyckel.
Browsing through the forums here is like taking a master class. And Im in awe of the work you guys do. Ill get there someday. Thanks.
