PART 1/2
Buschlaid was wondering how to build this plane and I had it in my plans anyway, so I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone. There are several glue-stained areas because I used really cheap, thin paper so it makes the model look bad. Hopefully you guys care more about this thread than you did my RAF diorama thread.

With this first part, you fold in all of the tabs. For an aardvark with swept wings or one that will have functioning swing wings, cut the red line. For one with wings out and fixed in place, like my example, you do not have to cut the red line.

With the second part, you form it into a tube with a slightly curved "tail" piece that is attached to the underside of the first part. The tabs on the back side get folded flat and glued to the front of the first part.

Add the last two pieces to complete the nose just like usual. Nothing out of the ordinary here:)

This part is the real interesting part of this kit. It's not that hard when broken down, but it looks pretty daunting from afar. You want to bend in the tabs for the elevators (including the airfoil-like part that gives it thickness) and take the two tabs on either side of the front of the part and glue them together as pictured. Fold in the two sides with the blank rectangles until they connect and don't hang over the sides (this may require a little trimming). Glue them together by the tab on one side, but make sure that they don't accidentally glue to the rest of the part. I used a tooth pick as a spacer while it dried. I'm sorry for that part being hard to explain. The rest of the plane is easier to break down.
Attachment 291556
Attach that last part to the first part but ONLY ON THE BACK HALF. Leave the rest folded up a little bit so that you can attach the wings. Also make sure that the rear-most tab on the last part glues to the back of the first part
Attachment 291557Attachment 291558
Add the wings. They are pretty straightforward. You want a little bit of an overhang on the back part of the wing if they will be swept out like mine. If you don't want a working swing-wing, glue the wings in place between the two layers of the part that was so hard to explain. Once the wings are in place, you can glue that section down to the other tabs on the first part. Then glue the front tabs down to the second part as a slightly downward angle.
Attachment 291564
Add the tail. It is standard assembly. It is to be aligned with the back of the outline for the tail, while the front isn't entirely covered by the tail. Don't be alarmed if you cant get it to stick to the very back yet. As you add the engine nozzles it should fall into place
Attachment 291565
This should be the model after part 1. Part 2 is coming soon:):)
EDIT: I don't know how that picture of my harrier got there... I cant figure out how to delete it for good.
