The latest from Murph's production is the Grumman C-2 Greyhound, built in its original scale of 1/60, on laser print. For best result, a coat of protective laminate or paint or whatever should be applied on the laser paper before cutting out the parts. And to avoid cracks when folding the paper where necessary. For this model that I'm showing, I haven't sprayed on anything because of rush and laziness and that's an excuse for flaws here and there, lol. However, I have added paper of the same thickness as backing to make the model sturdier. If you intend to do the same, make sure that you shrink the formers when printing and cut them down to about 95% for easiness in fitting inside the fuselage. Remember to add weights to the nose, I placed two lead fishing beads (a total of 20 grammes) there. If not, do expect a take-off mode.
Aaron has done a wonderful job on this version of the Greyhound and the tail section and engines are worthy of praise of his paper engineering.
The build was not difficult for the average papermodeler, a piece of cake for the pro but a little bit of challenge for the novice. Anyway, you'd like it, that I can assure you.
Now the pictures.................let's roll.
