Here are some photos of my latest build, the Starfighter-X 'inspired' by the X-Wing fighter from Star Wars, which I finished recently:-
I bought this from the Visual Spicer website, and the designer, Taras Lesko has done a great job. Everything fits together perfectly and the graphic instructions are very clear and easy to follow. As you can see, it also comes with a stand that allows it to be displayed on a desk or shelf etc, or alternatively it can also be hung on a wall.
He recommends 200gsm card for all of his models, but I only had 160gsm to hand so I tried building it with that. Everything went well until I tried to attach the second wing, at which point I realised that I needed either thicker card or to scale the model down a bit.
So I reprinted the parts again onto A5 sized 160gsm card instead of the A4 size that I'd tried initially, and that was much more successful - as you can hopefully see from the photos! The model has turned out at approximately 2/3 of it's original size. It's taken me a bit longer to finish than anticipated, but I got there in the end! I hope you like it.
