ISS Help

I'm giving some thought to finally beginning to build Dr. Moreno's fabulous ISS kits. I recall there was a thread within the last few years of an ISS build where someone had constructed component supports using metal rods. I believe it was also a POTW. I cannot seem to locate the thread. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
