Childhood's End

I know we have some Sci-Fi fans here, so did anyone else watch Childhood's End on Sci-fi channel this week. So what did you think? The book is one of my very favorite. I think if you never read the book it wasn't bad, but i was let down. I know they have to crop down the story for a movie (even a 6 hour one) but I think they left out some important parts. I was really hoping to see some of the Overlord's home world and more of the back story on them, Karellen was cool looking though. Lets hear from you.......Rich
