I've been searching in vain for a certain castle kit, and thought that perhaps you'd be able to help.
About twenty-five years ago, I made a paper model castle but gave it away when I moved. The problem is that I can't remember the names of the castle or the kit manufacturer. It was not an historically accurate model based on an actual castle; instead it was designed to demonstrate elements of successful castle design. For example, the ramp leading up to the main gate was at 90 degrees to the gate, making it impossible to use a battering ram on the gate. The name of the castle was some sort of German-sounding fictitious name.
It was not an expensive model. I probably got it from the company that was making a lot of paper bird models, which a friend of mine was building. That's all I can recall about the source?
Does this ring a bell with anybody on the forum?
