Anyone have any neat techniques to make the folds on paper models?
kcorbin showed a way of http://ift.tt/1Cslshg using straight, smooth jawed pliers as a bending brake.
A dull utility knife blade can be used to fold small parts by lining up the edge with the fold line to make the fold.

For long folds a bag clip can be used. Clamp the part along the fold line and make the fold. It probably would be a rounded fold, but it gives a good start to make the long fold more crisp.

The bag clips come in various lengths. The main draw back with the bag clips is if the fold line is too far from the edge of the part and you cannot clamp along the fold line.
Another way is to use a metal ruler by laying the edge of the ruler along the fold line then putting pressure along the ruler while making the fold. Almost like useing a small bending brake. Speaking of which, you could make a small bending brake using clamps and a metal straight edge of some kind.
