Dovecote

A 1:144 scale building inspired by the old half timber dovecotes in England and France. Base layer of cardstock with timbers on another layer over that. The window openings are glazed with transparency film that has laser printed leading lines on it. You can both see and feel the raised lines on the plastic which adds subtle depth to the piece.



I designed it in 3D CAD and cut it on a laser. I make it in several color combinations, tradition brown on cream shown here.
