I'm a miniaturist. I model almost anything old. Nearly all my projects are heavily weathered, rusted, well worn or simply in everyday use.
Nothing modern, with several small exceptions I feel styling and character went into declined in the 1960's. Currently I'm working on an ON30 train layout. Tasmanian timber milling set in 1957.
Trains allow me the freedom to build structures, boats, vehicles, figures and scenery etc. Paper and card give me unlimited variety and possibilities. All I need apart from my laptop and printer is a pencil case of simple tools.
I look forward to reading about other builders achievements and hope soon to post photos of mine. This is a "learning hobby" and I learn something new everyday.:)
