As some of you know I've finished building u-dons lunar module and having enjoyed building it I decided to build u-don's u-boat in 1/100.
A bit of history courtesy Wikipedia;
Type VII U-boats were the most common type of German World War II U-boat. The Type VII was based on earlier German submarine designs going back to the World War I Type UB III and especially the cancelled Type UG, designed through the Dutch dummy company Ingenieurskantoor voor Scheepsbouw den Haag (I.v.S) which was set up by Germany after World War I in order to maintain and develop German submarine technology and to circumvent the limitations set by the Treaty of Versailles, and was built by shipyards around the world.
The model is a big one, the finished model measuring around 67 Cm :eek: so it's going to take a while to build it...
The pictures are showing how thick all the pages are together, then there's a picture of the former's with a 5 x 5 cm scale cube.
Enjoy,
