U.S.S. Commandment - NCC-2130

This ship has been a long time coming. I started it over a year ago when I built all the PDMcCool parts as a big parts pile. Since I started it before I began posting build threads, there are no build pics. However, it's a standard Rawen design which you can study in my other posts. She is built from Rawen and PDMcCool parts, some altered and repainted by me including a customized 4-deck thick primary saucer edge.

This is the U.S.S. Commandment. She is what I call a Super-Heavy Dreadnought. I wanted to create a heavy-hitter Starfleet ship because I'm tired of Starfleet always being outgunned when it hits the galactic fan. I think of this as a more realistic take on the Vengeance dreadnought from the JJ film. She is a Liberator class ship designed for heavy combat, troop deployment and fighter support. Commandment has no science or diplomatic facilities. As she is only assigned to military operations her deployments are limited.

She has 8 phaser banks, 6 dual photon launcher (2 fore, 4 aft), triple-layered shielding, 3 full shuttlebays and many other enhanced combat capabilities. The twin engineering hulls both have complete warp cores and advance power distribution machinery. The saucer has it's own engineering section that can function independently or in tandem with the twin hulls. If the primary and secondary hulls detach they are still fully functioning starships each equivalent to a Constitution class vessel. The quad warp drive (enhanced units for the secondary hull, regular for the saucer) give the ship incredible speed and allow separated hulls to retain full warp capability.
