I can't believe I only just discovered this forum today! :)
Anyhoo. I've been an avid (practically daily) paper modeler since 2006. I've downloaded, designed, scratch built and just plain kit-bashed paper models of many types in the last 10 years.
What really got me started was remembering a card model kit of Cinderella's Castle I saw way back in 1979 and I started searching the net to see whether or not I really did see one or whether I was only imagining things! :) I wasn't! I know that kit really does exist and one of these days I'll be lucky enough to find one!
In the meantime, I used Disney Experience and Haunted Dimensions kits as the basis for my own paper (mostly) Disneyland that I set up around my Christmas tree every year. As soon as I figure out how, I'll send some pics your way!
I'm also an O gauge model railroader and my summer layout (4' x 6' on my bedroom floor) features buildings I scratch-built, kit-bashed or downloaded to create my own little tribute to friends I have in Thailand.
My other big modeling interest is rocketry. I often work on those when I can't wrap my head around figuring out improvements to my train layouts! :) At the moment I'm building the Uhu02 Apollo 13 Aquarius LEM.
So that's my quick intro! :)
