Happy 90th anniversary to the Ford Tri-Motor

According to many sources, the maiden flight of the historic Ford Tri-Motor
took place on June 11, 1926.

That means the legendary Tin Goose is already 90 years old!
And a handful of survivors are still around. Some of them still flying

If you wish to build a paper model of this legendary aircraft,
don't forget this forum was blessed to have Peter Zorn's approval
in re-releasing digitally his nice 1/33 kit.

You can download it from our downloads section here:

And you can read the re-color thread here:

If you wish a much simpler version, the Iwatsuki Paper Airplane Club
has a free download of the Tri-Motor here:
???????????????
(there are many other simple free airplane kits in that link)

The Ecardmodels.com online store offers Lad N Dad's 1/48 own version
at a very affordable price. You can get it following this link:

Also at Ecardmodels you can find the nice kit by Contour creative Studio
of the Stout 2AT Pullman (at 1/48 scale) which was a predecessor of the
famous Tri-motor. You can buy it here:

Fiddlers Green also offers a Tri-motor paid kit. It was designed by Aaron Murphy (Oddball). You can find it at:

And some photos of it can be found at our forum here:

If you know of more paper kits of this nice airplane, that I forgot to include,
please share the information on your comments!

Or if you have any story related to the real airplane, please also comment!
(unfortunately I haven't any).

Let's hope the Ford Tri-motor keeps on flying many more years!
:)
