A friend who flies polar support for the New York Air Guard operated in northern Canada alongside some of the aircraft of Buffalo Airways, and sent me a snap-together desktop display model of one of Buffalo's aircraft, an ex-military C-47, as a Christmas present.
It's a simple 14-piece model of strong plastic- fuselage, tail feathers, wings, engines, props and hubs, main landing gear, and tailwheel. All parts snap into molded slots. A stand is also provided.
