Olli's Imperial Shuttle, modified

Needing to do something different, I tried Olli's shuttle. But, being I cannot leave anything alone,
I modified it.

First, when I printed it, I did not like the color, so I lightened it. Then, after printing several copies,
I began the layering process to give a more dimensional appearance.

Here, in the first pic, is the main vertical wing cut out parts used for layering.
In the second pic, you can see the parts added onto the vertical wing. The upper
most box was cut out, and a layer added behind it, giving a 3 layer appearance.

In the next picture, simply parts of the fusalage and cabin.

The next series of pictures, shows how I cut out a very thin box to add another level of depth.

First, the inner section of the box is cut out, and removed. This lets me edge color the inside
edge of the part. Then, the inner piece is re-inserted. This provides support to the thin parts
while the outer box is cut.

On to the outside. After the outer edges are cut, the entire piece is removed, so
that the outer edges can be colored, again, using the inner part for support.

After the edge color has dried, the inner section is once again removed, leaving you
with a thin edged part, ready to be applied.

Then, more parts are layered on, as in the vertical wing.

Tomorrow, finished pictures.
