In the USA we have one pound rolls of sausage with some cutting guides on the package. If you use the cutting guides to cut the sausage into uniform portions you get eleven pieces.
I was cooking a roll the other day after cutting it using those guides and noticed they were arranged in the frying pan in a 4-4-2 formation. Even had the goalkeeper in the correct position.:)
