I am also new to this hobby, and have only assembled a couple of models by now.
Of course it started with star wars, R2D2 ( ongoing) , then Shuttle Tydurium, Empire Destroyer , Pacific Venus tiny Tweezer version, and are assemling a 737-900 KLM from paper-replica now. I think i needed to try diffrent types/shapes , to get used to the logic behind shapes needed to be able to build flawless models in the future.
Still not happy with many solutions, since seems/joints on diffrent shapes are not looking too good, but i problably will have to get used to , and after all its made from flat paper.. isn`t it.
I have just bought a Offshore Vessel Geco Scorpio, and will build this hopefully next week, this is going to be displaied here at the office, and I am hoping it will be as perfect as it can be.
Since i am a patient soul, this hobby suits me very good.
