To try and build some funds for my pre-printed kit sales initiative I am looking at buying a large format printer for kit sales. The main purpose would be to print kits not otherwise available due to paper size needs and to pre-print kits available electronically in my shop (on demand only)
Looking for printer input. I am looking for a high quality wide format printer. I have had lots of printers of almost every brand. Usually only standard consumer quality. Damn things always plug up and are expensive as heck to refill.
Requirements:
1. wide format
2. not too expensive to refill or easy to hook up some kind of bulk ink system
3. not prone to plugging etc
4. inkjet - I hate laser, always flakes for me
5. preferably suggest something you have used or are familiar with
Right now I am leaning towards an Epson wide format printer specifically the epson artisan 1430
