Releasing Retextured?

Seeing the beautiful A320 retexturing from RunwayOneSixRight, I just want to bring this out and see where we (paper) modelers stand. I’ve been thinking a lot about retextured models and how to release them without crossing anyone. Like aftermarket resin conversion kit that replacing the original plastic parts with more detailed resin parts. In paper modeling, I’m thinking release only the part that retextured. The fuselage for example, placing the new textured fuselage section over the original template. So, I am not releasing the whole model but only part(s) to replace a section(s). Or, just release the retextured parts as a standalone conversions kit. ……I was just thinking out loud….. Ok, now that I got that out, everyone wants to can jump all over me now. :D
