brick, tile, stone designer

I came across a small program for texture mapping that looks quite useful. Seamless Architectural Texture Generator | Bricks'n'Tiles

It has the ability to use samples of the materials taken from photographs and put them into variations across the texture map. You can specify the sizes of the bricks or stones as well as the width of the mortar joints then it will create seamless wraps.

With all of the image on the internet taken by tourist of real buildings such as castles this program would be a real help in creating realistic texture maps that are very specific to the original building.

Anyway it is something to play with, I like the ability to define the sizes and use photos to create the texture colors.

Payment is by donation or if for commercial use a license can be purchased. There are some tutorials on line for it.
