1/50 Panzer IIC

My armor kick continues. I just completed one of the Panzer IICs from Robototehnik, and really enjoyed this trouble free build. I've built 4 of Sergey Kamotsky's designs so far, and I can't say enough about them. This tank is in a winter camo scheme, so my groundwork depicts it driving through what hopefully looks like a couple of inches of snow. I decided to use a weathered grey woodgrain paper base to add to the feeling of cold I was trying to portray.

The model is totally stock with the exception of the antenna which is a piece of steel guitar string, and the exhaust/tail pipes which are made from fine solder bent to shape and painted.

My only minor gripe with this model as designed, is the lack of teeth on the drive sprocket.

Photos came out pretty good this time. We got a couple of inches of snow yesterday, so it's bright inside the house.
